The honest read
Push to Kindle sets the price floor for this whole market at $2.99 a month, and it earns that position: browser extensions, iOS, Android, and delivery to Kobo, PocketBook and Apple Books as well as Kindle. It is a well-run, long-lived product doing one thing.
The difference is what the product is *for*. Push to Kindle is a button: you are looking at an article, you push it, it arrives. RoutineInk is a schedule: a digest that assembles itself and lands at 6am whether or not you opened anything this week. If a button is all you need, the honest answer is that $2.99 is a good price and you should take it.
The second difference is what happens when a send fails. Both of us hand a file to Amazon and hope. Only one of us reads the refusal notice that comes back and tells you which address is missing from your approved list.
